Before adding any data to the server database, the general idea for manage the vehicles, fleets, and users in ceiba2 is using the tree structure. Same as the authorities or permissions. The vehicle can be added to the ceiba2 data automatically if it hasn't added on the server before, the auto adding will add the vehicle under the “today’s date” fleet. For example: if today is 27th, September 2020, the vehicle will be added to the fleet "20200927".

Find the “System Manage” on the top right corner, open the management menu to find the operation you need.

Here are the basic steps to create a user, the fleet then add a vehicle.

Step 1: Create a fleet under “Fleet Information”.

Step 2: Add a vehicle in “Vehicle Device information”. If that vehicle has been added to the system before, it can be reassigned to the current fleet under the same menu. “Serial number” can be found in the system status menu in the DVR GUI.

Step 3: Check and modify the vehicle details. Device type, (Default as N9M), Channel numbers and names, etc.

Step 4: Create a Role under “Role Authority”. The role can be considered as a user group that specifies the exact authorities or permissions for each user within this group, for example, functions and fleets that can be controlled.

Step 5: Create a User under “User Information”. A new user will be created into the system after fill in the necessary details.

Important: Restart the Ceiba2 software to apply.
